A deep renovation of a Southwestern home in Albuquerque. The kitchen was rebuilt in walnut with black stone counters and a proper island; the living room keeps its beams and adds a wall of windows with a built-in seat. The formal dining room’s barrel ceiling stayed — some things you don’t touch. The primary bath went full slate tile with a matte soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
